“Facilitation and Professional Influence” presented by Don Levonius of Victory Performance Consulting

About the Speaker:

Don Levionous PicAs a professional consultant, trainer, and national public speaker, Don Levōnius draws on over 17 years of leadership experience, during which time he led corporate training for 23 Disney hotels, 200 retail and dining locations, a large transportation system, a security division, an international college internship program, and a global professional association. Don also taught organizational communication and security management for the University of Central Florida and Lake-Sumter State College. He holds master’s degrees in human resource development and business & organizational security management.

Don dedicated the early years of his career to managing corporate security departments and was working as regional manager of loss prevention and fraud investigations for The Disney Company on the day that redefined corporate risk – 9/11/2001. Following the terrorist attacks, Don was asked to help create and lead Disney Security Training Institute in an effort to help the company combat the emerging threat of terrorism. Under his leadership, Disney’s security training was transformed to become an international benchmark for private and public sector security organizations.

Don was later promoted to lead operations and guest service training for 23 Walt Disney World Resort hotels (25,000 guest rooms), 200 retail and dining locations, and Disney Transport (200,000 monorail, watercraft, and bus passengers daily). He subsequently became a senior leader of Disney University, the company’s corporate university.

In 2009, Don left Disney and founded Victory Performance Consulting (VPC) which then provided learning solutions for a number of organizations including General Electric, NBC Universal, the Florida Attorney General and The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). The IIA subsequently hired Don fulltime to manage development of its curriculum and learning strategies and later promoted him to direct over 200 seminars annually.
