- Learn how to apply critical thinking skills to the planning and risk assessment phase to perform an effective audit

Session Description
If you fail to plan then you plan to fail. Planning is the foundation for every efficient and effective audit. If audit teams take the time and methodical approach to build an audit risk assessment and plan the audit accordingly, they will increase the success rate exponentially. This half day course will take attendees through the basics of audit level risk assessments and appropriate steps throughout the planning phase of an audit.

About the Speaker
Linh Truong is currently the CAE at Orthofix leading a team of 15 audit professionals (employees and contractors) worldwide. She has more than 20 years of audit experience including being the former CAE of Kosmos Energy and Alon USA where she built the respective internal audit departments from ground zero. She has spearheaded Fraud Risk Assessments and ERM initiatives at multiple companies. She has implemented first year SOX at three companies and have brought SOX compliance efforts in-house.
