Guler Ann Wiefling is a Partner in the Forensic Investigation and Litigation Support Practice at Weaver. She specializes in forensic investigations, regulatory compliance, advising clients on litigation matters, corporate governance, financial planning, analysis, and audit planning and execution. Guler has more than twenty years of experience in industry and consulting . Her significant experience includes investigating and auditing financial and regulatory compliance issues in various industries, such as technology, energy, transportation, government and for many other companies ranging between private and publicly traded entities. Guler has assisted her clients’ in house and outside counsels on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations as well as matters alleging employee misconduct, vendor/employee collusion, kickback schemes, payroll fraud, and white-collar crime matters. Guler also served as an independent monitor for behalf of government agencies on many different matters to monitor companies’ compliance activities related to FCPA, ethics and trade compliance.
With more than 25 years of legal experience, Jacqueline Peterson, J.D., leads Weaver’s forensics practice related to anticorruption, ethics and compliance. She began her career as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida, and most recently led anticorruption, ethics and global compliance efforts at Hewlett-Packard (HP), Hewlett Packard Enterprise, (HPE) and DXC Technology. While at HP, Jacqueline assisted the company in resolving investigations by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, earning accolades from the DOJ for HP’s extensive anticorruption efforts.
